John Krawchenko came to Hamilton to practice law in 1986 and quickly fell in love with the city and its people. After articling and then practicing law under Emil B. Fedak, John left the Fedak Law Offices in 1990 to open the doors to Krawchenko Law.
Over his career, John has built a reputation for providing clients with expert counsel on a wide range of legal areas, such as civil litigation, family law, real estate, corporate commercial law, estates and estate litigation. He is also well known as an active leader in the Hamilton legal community. John is a frequent speaker and presenter on legal topics and is the past president of the Hamilton Law Association and was recently elected as the Central South Regional Representative to the Federation of Ontario Law Associations.
In addition to his thriving legal practice, John is a Deputy Judge of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Hamilton Small Claims Court) and the Administrative Deputy Judge for Hamilton.
A former Naval Reserve Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces, John is also an active volunteer in his community. John was a former Appointed Public Member of the Ontario College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists, a past president of the Hamilton Aquatic Water Polo Club and past vice president of the Ontario Water Polo Association, to name but a few.
John is likewise no stranger to the theatre stage. He has performed in the Hamilton lawyer plays, which result in large charitable donations from their proceeds as well he performs regularly in the community and dinner theatre circuits.

Augustine Emily Krawchenko graduated with a combined Honours degree from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Faculty of Law at Leicester University in England in 2015. A proud and passionate Hamiltonian, she returned to Canada to continue the Krawchenko tradition of serving the Hamilton community as a general practitioner.
Augustine grew up at Krawchenko Law and is thrilled to have come full circle to practice law alongside her mentor and father. Augustine is the past president of the McMaster Ukrainian Student’s Association and Director of Internal Affairs for the National Ukrainian Students Association of Canada. Augustine is a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces Royal Canadian Navy and active volunteer in the Hamilton community, including Food 4 Kids. She is no stranger to the stage, taking part of numerous local productions with the Hamilton Player’s Guild, Hamilton Theatre Inc., Theatre Burlington, Theatre Ancaster and has performed in the Hamilton lawyer plays at Theatre Aquarius, which result in large charitable donations from their proceeds.
